The Trans Mist System is similar to a sprinkler system, and disperses disinfecting spray around the entire interior of the bus with one swift toggle of a switch. Variables can be set based on your chosen cleaning solutions, climate, or by using Trans Mist Smart Controller and presets. It can be manually operated, or wirelessly operated via Bluetooth.
Trans Mist’s sleek flush mount design is almost invisible. This system significantly reduces labor costs with automated operation, and automatically logs data to document sanitizing events.

Benefits of Trans Mist
Total Estimated 5 Year Costs
Even with a higher initial procurement cost, Trans Mist is the cheapest option every year due to labor
– Trans Mist almost totally eliminates the labor needed to clean the buses with the automatic cleaning cycle, which takes seconds to engage.
– Trans Mist also saves cleaning fluid usage since over-application is not an issue. (20% vs Electrostatic Sprayers, 55% vs Electric Sprayers)
– Average total cost per bus/year: Trans Mist-$3,541; Electrostatic Sprayer-$4,366; Electric Sprayer-$5,776
– Labor is a large portion of the cost of cleanings, but is all but completely removed by using Trans Mist. The driver simply engages the system by pushing a few buttons as they normally leave the vehicle.
– Trans Mist saves considerable money by reducing the amount of cleaning fluid needed as well. It provides a fine mist like an electrostatic sprayer and has more control than an electric sprayer.
– Other costs have been neglected here including replacing worn out batteries, storage of handheld systems, PPE needed to use systems, and liability in case of an accident. Note that these costs are negligible for Trans Mist since it operates automatically on an empty bus.
– Trans Mist qualifies for Grant funding.
